"Salvation"

Rescue the words
that are swimming within.
Are they too deep to grasp
or in shallow waters easy to obtain.

Gasping for air;
Will you dive into the unknown depth
or let them drown.

The water is cold on the body,
but the heart is warm;
giving strength and hope.

You taste the saltiness on your lips
And allow the tide to carry you in,
Giving it all to Him.

Trust is suddenly put into the ocean
you once feared.
You feel your cavity being filled with water,
as you finally allow your heart to love.
